The coastal skipper course teaches the skills and techniques required to skipper a cruising yacht safely on coastal and offshore passages by day and night.
•
Suggested minimum pre-course experience; 15 days at sea (2 days as skipper), 300 miles, 8 night hours. This course is designed to compliment the Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Offshore Shorebased Course.
•
Course Duration 5 days. This can be in the forms of 5 days, 2 days plus 3 days or 3 weekends.
